Everything that is alive pulsates with energy and all of this energy contains information.  Practitioners of alternative or complementary medicine accept this concept.

Your physical body is surrounded by an energy field that extends as far out as your outstretched arms and the full length of your body.  It is both an information center and a highly sensitive perceptual system.

We are constantly in communication with everything around us through this system which is a kind of conscious electricity that transmits and receives messages to and from other people’s bodies. These messages from and within the energy field are what our intuition can perceive with practice.

Practitioners of energy medicine believe that the human energy field (HEF) contains and reflects each individual’s energy.  It surrounds us and carries with us the emotional energy created by our internal and external experiences – both positive and negative.

This emotional force influences the physical tissue within our bodies. In this way your biography – the experiences that make up your life – becomes your biology.
The imagined reality that we project onto our world is related to our “image” of what we concluded the world was like through our childhood experiences, and through the mind of the child, we were then.

Since each chakra is related to a specific psychological function; what we project through each chakra will be within the general area that each chakra functions and will be very personal to each of us because each person’s life experience is unique.  By measuring the vibration of the chakras, we can determine one’s overall long-term and current life issues.

There are eleven major energy centers (chakras) of the body. These chakras are like spirals of energy, each one relating to the others. Using the eleven colours of the spectrum, Colour Therapy aims to balance and enhance our body’s energy centres/chakras and also to help stimulate our body’s own healing process.

Colour Therapy uses colour to re-balance the Chakras that have become depleted of energy.

Colour therapy can be shown to help on a physical level; however there are deeper issues around the colours on the psychological and spiritual levels.  Colour has a profound effect on us on all levels, physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. If our energy centres become blocked or depleted, then our body cannot function properly and this, in turn, can lead to a variety of problems on any level.

Our well being is not purely a physical issue. Many more practitioners are now treating patients in a holistic manner. That is to say, we are body, mind and spirit and none of these areas function entirely alone; each has an effect upon the other. This is why Colour Therapy can be so helpful since colour addresses all levels of our being.

All life experiences have an affect upon us. Some experiences will be positive and some negative.

It is these negative experiences which can manifest themselves physically over time as disease. For example, perhaps over the years we have been in a situation where we have felt unable, for one reason or another, to speak our mind, or to express our needs and feelings. This can manifest as a problem in the throat chakra.

The throat chakra relates in the spiritual aspect to self-expression. Thus, if our self expression has been blocked, the energy in this area will not be free flowing.  Working with the appropriate colour/colours can help to dispel negative feelings, free blocks and re-balance the body.

Some Influential Factors in Healing

There are several key factors that determine the success rate of any healing.

  • Receptivity: The receptivity of the two individuals involved (the one receiving the healing energy and the one directing it) plays a key factor. Both parties need to be very receptive and open to the healing energy. If the client is not receptive or is skeptical, simple measures can be taking to help the individual become more open to the energy.

  • The severity of the ailment: If the ailment or emotion etc has been long standing or is severe, repetitive healings will be needed to thoroughly cleanse it from the system.

  • Age of the client. Age can be a determining factor in the bodies ability to absorb the healing energy. Often the older the body gets the slower the healing process.

  • Environment/Lifestyle. Anyone receiving healing treatments should take inventory of their lifestyle and environment. One most compliment the other.

  • Emotional/Mental State. These need to be harmonious not only within ourselves but also from the people around us. The thoughts and feelings from the people we live with can affect us greatly, our rate of healing may be slowed down if we keep returning to an unhealthy environment.

  • Karma. Master Choa Kok Sui talks about how even the greatest clairvoyants in the world can make mistakes as to whether something is karmic in nature. Everyone is entitled to healing. To ensure the success rate of one’s healing and the improvement of the individuals quality of life, we encourage all clients to tithe money to their favorite organizations and/or volunteer their services or participate in group meditations.
